Meet the Scorpio Girls: Three Flatmates, Nothing Alike

Kandi, Selene and Cherry - three bat-horned, poseable-tailed flatmates who are nothing alike. A spooky-cute figurine set that outlasts Halloween.
The Scorpio Girls Set - Kandi, Selene and Cherry, three bat-horned 3D-printed figurines standing together

There is a certain kind of shared flat where three people who are nothing alike somehow make it work: a broken buzzer, three sets of blackout curtains, and a doorway none of their tails fit through.

Meet the Scorpio Girls - Kandi, Selene and Cherry. Each stands 94mm tall with bat horns, arms that pivot at the shoulder, and a long segmented tail that holds whatever pose you leave it in. They are not friends because they are alike. Kandi wants everybody to come along, Selene wants everybody to leave, and Cherry wants everybody to be honest about which one they are. Somehow it works.

Kandi - she has never met a stranger she did not have plans for

Kandi talks to people in queues. She took the small room because she said she did not mind, then filled it with things she found - forty-one objects on one shelf, and she can tell you where every single one came from. She is up at four in the morning when Cherry gets home, and delighted about it.

Her tail wags when she is happy, which is most of the time. It has taken out three mugs this month, and she has not noticed any of them. Candy corn colours doing a great deal of heavy lifting - sweet right up until the tail.

Three mugs. She still has not noticed.

Selene - she answers a slightly different question to the one you asked

Selene does not lie, exactly. She took the room at the back and nobody is entirely sure what she does in there. She reads, mostly: she got through the whole local library and has started on the section they do not lend out, which nobody has asked her about.

When something goes missing in the flat it turns up within a week, in a better place, and nobody says anything. Her tail curls up behind her like a question she has no intention of answering. The softest palette of the three, which ought to tell you something.

It turned up in a better place. Nobody said anything.

Cherry - she turned at nineteen and has been nineteen ever since

Which she describes as administratively annoying. Hers is the room with the curtains that actually matter. She works nights at a bar where nobody asks questions, comes home at four, and finds Kandi awake anyway. She pretends this irritates her. It has been three years.

Grey-pale skin, deep red from the hair down, tail up on arrival. Where Kandi charms and Selene waits, Cherry simply tells you, and finds it saves everyone a great deal of time. Properly a vampire, so she reads differently from the other two on a shelf.

Four in the morning. Kandi is awake. Cherry is not surprised.

The Scorpio Girls Set - the whole flat

The Scorpio Girls Set - Kandi, Selene and Cherry, three bat-horned 3D-printed figurines standing together

All three together is the way they make sense - a story rather than a repeat. They share a flat with a broken buzzer and three sets of blackout curtains, only one of which is strictly necessary.

All three stand 94mm tall with bat horns, arms that pivot at the shoulder, and long segmented tails that hold whatever pose you leave them in. The tails are a problem in doorways: all three have learned to go through sideways, and not one of them will admit it.

Three girls, six horns, three tails, one doorway.

Halloween that survives November

Bat horns and scorpion tails, nothing gory - the kind of spooky that earns a spot in October and quietly stays past it. If you would rather have a set that is three characters than three colourways, this is the one.

Meet the rest of the lineup in the full Halloween collection, and if you want the three of them to actually share a shelf scene, our guide to tiny scenes shows how.
