A new flock has landed

Meet the Birbz

Round bodies, tiny beaks, and unreasonably big personalities. The Birbz are a flock of 3D-printed articulated birds - each one a poseable little desk companion with a very distinct vibe and a lot of opinions about you.

Where do the Birbz come from?

Nobody sent for them. Rubba Dukky floated in first, delighted about nothing in particular. Quacky Jack arrived looking immaculate and has mentioned it daily since. Cardinelly showed up dressed for a gala nobody organised, Cokatu staged a tantrum about the seating, and Krow appeared silently on the highest shelf, where he files reports on all of you.

They claimed the good perches, made strong eye contact, and refused to leave. So we gave them a flock, a shelf, and your full attention - which, frankly, they already assumed was theirs.

Good questions

Short, honest answers.

Are they fidgets or figurines?

A bit of both. Every Birb is fully articulated, so it poses and fidgets happily in the hand - but it's just as content perched on a desk or shelf, looking judgemental.

How big are they?

Palm-sized - small enough to perch on a monitor or tuck into a gift box, big enough to have real presence on a shelf.

What are they made of?

3D printed in Melbourne from PLA, a plant-derived plastic commonly used in 3D printing. Keep them out of hot cars, direct sun and dishwashers - PLA can soften in heat.

Are they OK for little kids?

They contain small parts, so they're not suitable for children under 3. Older kids, teens and desk-dwelling adults: very much yes.
