The full story
Meet Lanty - he grew in the front yard and never actually moved in.
Nobody at 4 Hollow Lane can point to the day Lanty became a housemate. He came up in the front garden, sat there through two winters, and eventually somebody built a bed around him rather than raise it. He has never paid rent. Nobody has ever asked him to.
Deep orange with a carved grin, he is the one that reads as Halloween from across the room. In a holder he is a pumpkin you can press on the head whenever the mood takes you, and he makes an obvious escape key on a board of your own.
Why You'll Love It
- You press a pumpkin, not a button: in a holder a real clicky switch does the work, but what your finger lands on is a carved grin.
- Everyone recognises him instantly: a carved pumpkin needs no explaining to anybody who walks past your desk.
- Standard cross stem: tested on a Kailh Box switch, so he can go on your own gear if the spacing allows.
- Seasonal without being disposable: he earns his spot in October and is welcome to keep it after.
- An easy small gift: under four dollars and no wrapping required.
What You Get
- 1 x Lanty the Pumpkin 3D-printed keycap
Technically still a garden feature.
Note: a keycap on its own does not click. It needs a mechanical switch to press against, either in one of our keycap holders or in your own keyboard. Caps are roughly 19 x 19mm across and between 16 and 19mm tall depending on the character, with an MX-style cross stem. Check your switch type and key spacing before ordering if you plan to use one on a keyboard.
Made to Swap
This keycap is designed to press-fit onto a compatible MX-style switch. We intentionally leave it unglued, so you can remove it and swap in another compatible keycap later.
