The full story
Meet Bingo - a small grey elephant in a yellow hat, standing on top of the big top rather than performing under it.
Set him down and his legs disappear up inside him, so he settles onto the striped tent like he has been there since the show started. Lift him by the loop and all four drop back out, feet first, ready to stomp. Put him down: gone again.
That is the whole trick and it does not get old. The loop on his back is there precisely so you can pick him up and watch it happen.
He comes with the tent - red, yellow and pink panels - wears a small yellow hat, and has a red circle on each cheek suggesting he has been made up for a performance he has no plans to give.
Why You'll Love It
- Legs that vanish: they retract completely when Bingo sits and drop back down the moment you lift him.
- Built to be picked up: the loop on his back exists to make the stomp happen, not to hold keys.
- Comes with his tent: a two-piece set, so him arrives with somewhere to sit.
- Proper desk presence: 70mm across, which is a lot bigger than it looks in photos.
- Genuinely hard to explain: people will pick him up. Then do it again.
