It’s Fat Bear Week! Celebrate with Teddy the Bear Cub

Fat Bear Week is an annual event that runs from September 23 to September 30. The online competition pits the fattest brown bears in Alaska’s Katmai National Park against each other in a single-elimination bracket to see who’s the most gloriously plump. It’s wholesome, funny, and a global celebration of bears bulking up for winter.

At Wiggly Stuff, we love anything that celebrates big personalities and even bigger bellies. So every year, we join the fun with our own chunky champion: Teddy the Bear Cub.

Meet Teddy — Our Little Chonk Champion

Teddy is soft around the edges, endlessly curious, and full of that slow-and-steady charm that makes Fat Bear Week so loveable. With a round belly, a gentle wobble, and a look that says “I’m just preparing for hibernation”, he’s the perfect bear to have by your side.

Each Teddy is 3D printed in Melbourne using PLA, a plant-derived plastic commonly used in 3D printing. The design is licensed from the original 3D artist. Every print is carefully finished, tested for wiggle, and ready for your shelf, desk, or display case. Why We Love Fat Bear Week

The first Fat Bear Week began in 2014 as a small community event. Since then, it’s grown into a global phenomenon. Fans follow Katmai’s bears online, vote for their favourites, and celebrate every belly jiggle and salmon snack along the way. We share that same spirit — finding joy in the small, silly, and wonderfully wobbly. Teddy the Bear Cub captures that energy perfectly: round, resilient, and impossible not to smile at.

Bulking season is better with company. If Teddy has won you over, he shares his patch of forest with a few equally round neighbours: Maple the Chipmunk (cheeks already full, still collecting), Henry the Hedgehog (soft spikes, zero menace), and Pepper the Skunk (tail up, opinions ready).
