The full story
A haunted house with four rooms, and a working button in every one of them.
A black house with purple brickwork and four keycap-sized rooms, each sitting over its own mechanical switch. Fill it with four caps and you have a four-button desk toy that also looks like a model building, which is not something most fidgets manage.
It is also the piece that makes the most sense of the rest. Our Halloween keycap characters live at 4 Hollow Lane, there are ten of them, and this house has four rooms. Deciding who gets in this week is half the fun.
Why You'll Love It
- Four independent presses: each room has its own Kailh Box clicky switch fitted, so all four work separately.
- A shelf piece that does something: it reads as a display model until somebody reaches over and presses the roof.
- Gives a loose handful of caps somewhere to live: four rooms turns a drawer of spare keycaps into an arrangement.
- Change the residents whenever: caps lift out by hand, so the four on show can rotate as often as you want.
- Takes your own spare caps: standard MX mounts, so keycaps from a keyboard build can move in alongside.
