Meet Plod - the Axolotl Beast Dragon who read the brochure on adulthood and politely declined.
Plod has everything he needs to metamorphose into a towering adult dragon. He checked the schedule, noticed puddling was not on it, and filed a very polite refusal. Soft matte pink with brighter pink frills and tiny white highlights, he was built for low-effort lounging rather than terrestrial conquest. Ask what he wants to be when he grows up and he splats a little flatter against the desk.
That makes him an ideal desk buddy: his articulated body gives him a gentle wiggle, curls up beside the keyboard, and keeps hands busy while you think. He is sturdy enough for a shelf or collector display, and ridiculous enough to make people laugh mid-meeting.
